From 15 February to 02  March in Menton city, the most colorful and citrusy carnival of the region takes place, where the Lemon dominates.

This colorful party was born at the beginning of the 20th century, from an exhibition of flowers and citrus in the gardens of the Hotel Riviera. Subsequently, the party carry on in the streets with carnival floats made of orange and lemon trees, parading through the streets of the city. Every year a rich program: Night-time shows, light games, citrus exposure and permanent exhibitions in the gardens.
